I can’t believe that it is almost end of puasa and Eid-Fitri is just a few days away.
I’ll be going back to Kelantan this coming Sunday. My car is full with stuffs that I want to bring home. I’m hoping to have my first buka puasa with my family this year on Sunday.
Selamat Hari Raya to all Muslims out there.

Popiah sambal
I love snacking and one of the finger foods that I cannot live without during Ramadhan is popiah. I’ll buy a handful each time I visited the Ramadhan Bazaar. I saw wet and fried popiahs on sale and sometimes the sambal version as well. For me, I just prefer the fried version and it come with a lovely dipping that tastes slightly sweet.
Dadih..it is so soft
I bought this Milo dadih (or loosely translated as Milo soft pudding) from the Ramadhan Bazaar in Bayan Baru. It is lightly sweetened and tastes so smooth. There are other flavors on sale such as strawberry, durian, corn and vanilla. I think I’ll prefer the vanilla version but it was sold out. One small pot is not enough for me and I think I’d welcome a second helping.
The mooncake festival
Yes! It is the time of the year when the Chinese folks celebrates the mooncake festivals. We can see quite a number of seasonal stalls selling various kinds of mooncakes. I bought a halal mooncake that has green tea and red bean fillings. My housemate bought a newer version of mooncake that has tiramisu flavors. The skin doesn’t really have a taste and I’m not sure what it is made of though. The fillings were so sweet and really put me off but I think it will be better if I have a cup of green tea to go along with it.
Beautiful bloom
