Top 10: Men That All Women Love

From askmen.com:

1. The Bad Boy
2. The Surfer
3. The Musician
4. The Foreigner
5. The Sensitive Artist
6. The Dog Owner
7. The Fireman
8. The Surgeon
9. The Cook
10. The Marlboro Man

I think I'd pick the musician and the cook if I want to go steady. The bad boy is only for fling. I'd love to have somebody that can cook and play a nice piece for me when I'm home. How about you?

Too tired ...

My bros slept soundly…they must be so tried after following my parent visiting our relatives and friends on the first raya.

Who took my photo?

I hate it when paparazzi snap my photo. Do I look good?

Our new “pet”.

We have new friend onboard, much to the displeasure of our cat. Mama found a pair of baby squirrel in the mat when she was cleaning the house for raya. I guess the mommy squirrel gave birth and left to find food when my mom found them. We named them Chip and Dale… hehehehhe….. They have since become part of the family and have been staying in a cardboard house filled with some cloth and papers. We left the box open so the mommy can come back but I think the baby squirrel is still weak so they haven’t tried to venture out, yet.

They have yet to open their eyes when mom found them. They did so after a few days and I was so happy. Their eyes are big and they look so cute. We have been feeding them with fresh rambutan from the tress in the garden.

The female squirrel is more active compared to the male one, though. Whenever I take them out from the box, she will be the first one to wonder around. I guess she’s checking her territory. They like to sleep in the morning because it was cold. Given a chance, they’ll snooze on your lap because it was warmer. This has caused some confusion to the king of our house and he’s not happy with it.

We try to teach them to climb the trees so that we can release them to the wild but they are still baby. Their legs are still not strong enough to jump from branch to branch. So, they keep coming back.

Now that all of us have returned to our place, mom helps to feed them. Latest update… apart from the fresh flesh of rambutan, they can now eat watermelon and cucumber.. huh.. they even getting better diet than our cat. Not sure when will be the time, but they will leave us one day. The mommy has been checking on her babies. So, I guess it will be soon. Thanks God for this opportunity..

Chicken tortilla wrap..

One bad thing about the Ramadhan Bazaar trip is I ended up buying more stuffs than I can finish. So, I was left with lots of leftover in my fridge.

Undeterred, I’d decided to make use of the tortilla wrap that I always keep for ‘emergency’. The filling will be made off the BBQ rooster that I bought from the Bazaar. It was a nice thing to have iceberg lettuce and tomatoes in the vegetable drawer as well. With all these, I whipped up a nice snack that smelled so wonderful; I managed to entice my ever so picky house mate from her room. Both of us eat the wraps with pleasures and have a laugh over some funny tv series. Food always good for bonding time….

My favorite food

A bowl of hot steaming Mee Sup always lightened me up. This time, I made it with a chicken and prawn shell broth simmered over few hours. The result is a wonderful light soup that can be down on its own.

What a mee soup without other condiments, right? A few slices of fishcake, chicken and fish ball, fresh oyster and shiitake mushroom and some shredded crab meat said it all. It won’t looks so presentable without the spinach and chillies, so I‘d added them in to add some color to the humble soup. By now, I need a big bowl for my ‘modest’ culinary delight. Some garnishing such as parsley and fried shallot complete it and Lord…… I’m full.
